Summer
Swimming with friends
Cookouts and beaches
Vacations that never end
Did you pay attention?

Fall
The leaves turn
School Begins
Eager children learn
Do you remember?

Winter
Garbage bag sledding
Soda Bread and hot cocoa
Funerals and Weddings
Hills of white
Have you learned anything?

Friends come and go
Mothers fight
Grandmothers sew

But pay attention
remember this moment
store this happiness

That was past
Now look around
A whole year has passed

The birds sing
green comes again
Puddles and dew everywhere
Remember today
Today its spring

Dont drop the past
Its a part of you
But only a part
Remember that

Forget the future
Its lovely to dream of
But sadly
It hasnt happened yet

Focus on the Present
The Happiness right now
There must be a balance
Don't let time elapse
