Living Doll

Imagine taking the chance

A smile could not escape my face
although I try to rip it off
every time it follows back
for this I can blame you

My arms spread high
above the gleaming stars
white feathers tear through my back
and my palms reach out to you

my body is pulled
this way and that
wind brushes between each finger
looking down trees wave hello

with closed eyes my heart takes lead
over wheat and lavender
and then I see a familiar face
a loving glance to match my own

our hands are magnetic
all sorrows fade away
and he follows under the willows
where we meet again

Took me about 7 hours to do, its a pretty big picture all done in pastel and chalks. Glad you liked it :)

Heh I totally agree with you there, in fact I'm procrastinating right now, I should be getting ready to go out and see a friend in hour but instead I'm watching the 50 Greatest movie songs on one of the countless music channels my tv possesses haha....although I probably should get ready soon.
